As April arrives, GoX prepares to remove the small dome cover and replace it with a newly-invented shell. We do this not just because it is far superior, but because metal domes do not yet offer this type of setup and this is our prototype. Possibly, it will be so desirable, we can spin up a small business offering this new design.

We are also excited to reach out to national botanical gardens in the hopes of learning how to best serve our region. Having recently completed OpalEssence, we look forward to inviting people to see our space.

Our growth plans include upgrading the domes, adding more plants and new living walls, and possibly building another dome. Our goal would be 3 of these domes on the current property (we always hope to build the dream project).

Gardens of Xanadu seeks donations and funding for our efforts. Currently, the entire project has been privately funded and we are lucky to exist on a shoestring. Hopefully we find others that understand the value in such spaces and help GoX grow.

Funding needs:

$35,000 would fund upgraded walls, plant collection, and infrastructure.

$125,000 would build a second dome and help populate the new space, connecting it with the existing dome. Size = 44' (1560 ft sq.)
